Sunset Walk

The 2010 Annual Be Gorgeous Sunset Walk held at Berrinba Wetlands on April 25 was a memorable occasion. A huge ‘THANK YOU’ to all that were involved in making the day such an amazing success.

Our wonderful volunteers – girls and guys - ensured that the event ran smoothly. And the 70 gorgeous girls, with a select number of male supporters, who participated were truly GORGEOUS! They generously contributed their time and finances all because of their desire to make a difference and make the world a better place.

The money raised from this year's walk will help benefit the poorest and most vulnerable women in Hill Tribe villages in Thailand, Fistula women in DR Congo, women of the Australian outback and young Australian girls through the Shine program.

There is a scene in ‘My Fair Lady’ where Eliza Doolittle says, “The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves but how she is treated.” The Be Gorgeous Team would like to thank all who were involved in this year's walk for treating women all over the world with such dignity.
